Term 4 excursions


​On Monday 18th October, our Year 1 classes will be going to Ngutana-Lui, the Aboriginal & Torres Strait cultural studies centre. This is part of their We are Australian unit. The students will have a day at the centre learning about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

On 25th October, our Year 3 classes will be visiting the Beenleigh Historical Village to study what daily life was like in the 1800s. The children will be visiting a traditional classroom, a wood chopping exhibit and explore the local village.

Our Year 5 classes will be travelling by ferry to St Helena Island on 1st November as part of their history unit on The Colonial Period in Australia. They will have an interactive tour of the island led by actor tour guides to give the students an appreciation of life on St Helena in the year 1904.
