We have an active group of volunteers whose contribution makes a huge difference to the smooth running of our school. We value our volunteers highly and recognise the important role they play in providing a full and effective education for our children.
Volunteers help in a variety of areas:
Classroom: preparing and organising class materials; helping with small groups; attending excursions.
Tuckshop: taking orders, preparing meals, helping with food at special events, helping with end of term cleaning and sorting
P&C: fundraising events; fete; BBQs.
To ensure the safety of our children and our volunteers, we require all volunteers attend an annual training session. Training covers practical aspects such as where to park and how to sign on and off as well as important information such as our Code of Conduct and student protection policy. Training is provided by our Parent & Community Liaison Officer throughout the year.
